So this is the second day of my writing a blog. I must say there is nothing much to update it with. I am still waiting for the midwife to write to me so I know when my first antenatal appointment is and when i'll be having my first scan. I'm just scared that everything might not be okay and I wouldn't know about it until I have these appointments. Hopefully I wont have to wait that long for the midwife to write to me as i'm 9 weeks on Tuesday.

I'm currently in week eight, going onto week nine! I have been referred to the antenatal by my doctor and I am waiting to hear from them for my first appointment which can take up to three weeks!

Symptoms, sickness today along with fatigue, cramping, loss of appetite, frequent urination.

Hopefully, my little one inside is doing fine :)

So I thought I would start a blog to keep a recollection of my first pregnancy. On the 19th November 2011 I found out I was pregnant. I took a pregnancy test because my period was late and I thought if I took one it would put my mind at rest otherwise I would never get my period. Unknown to me, I already had a little one growing inside of me! I didn't even need the full three minutes for the test to give me a positive answer! Once I saw those two lines on the test my emotions were running and thousands of thoughts run through my head. I told my boyfriend straight away when he was at work and he was speechless, just as I was. I sent him the picture of the positive test and he seemed happy! After calculating when my last period was (19th August 2011) I worked it out I was about 5/6 weeks!

I was suffering with severe fatigue, I had lost my appetite and I always felt full so I had to start forcing myself to eat three meals a day! Never mind eating for two, I could barely eat for one! I was vomiting so many times a day I lost count! I felt down all the time and I was just so exhausted I didn't know what to do with myself. After finding out I was pregnant, I informed my place of work which I thought would jeopardize my job as I am still in a three month probationary period.
